The URIT -50 Semi Automated Urine Analyzer is designed to provide efficient, convenient, and reliable urine reagent strip analysis for in vitro diagnostic use.
The use of dual wavelength reflectance technology and a three-LED optical system allows the analyzer to perform semi-quantitative analysis of key urinary parameters, including:

- Urobilinogen
- Bilirubin
- Protein
- Glucose
- Specific gravity
- Blood pH
- Ascorbic acid
The URIT -50 offers both single test and continuous operating modes, with a throughput of approximately 60 tests per hour in normal mode, and up to 125 tests per hour in continuous mode. A reaction time of approximately 60 seconds helps to support efficient routine testing.
The analyzer features an LCD display, built in thermal printer, and memory capacity for up to 5000 test results. The connectivity option includes an RS232 serial interface for communication with host computer or laboratory information system (LIS), a parallel port for an external printer, and a PS/2 connection for an optional barcode reader.
